September 27, 2022: El Paso, IL 61738 The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the El Paso-Gridley Titans (El Paso, IL) and the visiting Fieldcrest Knights (Minonk, IL), saw El Paso-Gridley's volleyball squad beat Fieldcrest by a tally of 2-0.
With the win, El Paso-Gridley upgrades its record to 20-2 on the year. The Titans travel to Eureka (Eureka, IL) to play the Hornets in a Heart of Illinois bout on Thursday, September 29. The Hornets go into the bout with a record of 14-4. Eureka lost 2-1 in their recent league bout against Tri-Valley (Downs, IL)
The Knights now own a 18-2 record. They play next when they host Deer Creek-Mackinaw for a Heart of Illinois bout on Thursday, September 29. Fieldcrest will play a Chiefs squad coming off a 2-0 league win over Fisher (Fisher, IL). The Chiefs record now stands at 6-10.
