September 27, 2023: Downsville, LA 71234 The Washington Lions volleyball team (Shreveport, LA), was dropped 3-0 in Wednesday's non-league challenge with the host Downsville Demons (Downsville, LA)
The Demons (6-5) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Mary's Academy (New Orleans, LA). The Cougars enter the Division IV District 7 challenge with a 3-5 record. In their last challenge, St. Mary's Academy defeated Eleanor McMain (New Orleans, LA), 3-2, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Lions meet the Neville Tigers (Monroe, LA) in a Division II District 1 challenge, on Tuesday, October 3. Washington will attempt to move on its 0-10 season record. The Tigers enter the challenge with a 11-5 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Parkway (Bossier City, LA).
