California High School Volleyball - Hilltop edged by Madison
September 27, 2023: San Diego, CA 92117 The Madison Warhawks held off the visiting Hilltop Lancers volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Warhawks now have a 7-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Kearny for a City - Central test on Thursday, September 28. Madison will confront a Komets team coming off a 3-1 league win over Morse (San Diego, CA). The Komets record now stands at 6-10.
The Lancers (10-13) will now prepare for their test against Montgomery (San Diego, CA). The Aztecs enter the Metro South Bay test with a 6-14 record. In their last test, Montgomery was nudged by Mater Dei Catholic (Chula Vista, CA), 3-0, in a non-league test.
