Mississippi High School Football - Tri-County Academy triumphant over Canton Academy
September 27, 2024: Flora, MS 39071 The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Tri-County Academy Rebels (Flora, MS) and the visiting Canton Academy Panthers (Canton, MS), witnessed Tri-County Academy's football squad wallop Canton Academy by a tally of 47-7.
The Rebels (6-0) will now prepare for their contest against Washington (Greenville, MS). The Generals enter the non-league contest with a 3-3 record. In their last contest, Washington was trounced by Riverfield Academy (Rayville, LA), 34-0, in a non-league contest.
Coming up next, the Panthers confront the Central Holmes Christian Trojans (Lexington, MS) in a MAIS 3A District 2 contest, on Friday, October 4. Canton Academy will attempt to better on its 3-3 season record. The Trojans enter the contest with a 3-3 record after their 24-12 non-league win over French Camp Academy (French Camp, MS).
