Pennsylvania High School Football - North Allegheny thwarted by Central Catholic
September 27, 2024: Pittsburgh, PA 15213 Central Catholic Vikings (Pittsburgh, PA) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting North Allegheny Tigers (Wexford, PA), 27-14 in a league battle.
With the win, Central Catholic advances its record to 4-2 on the season. The Vikings travel to Shaler Area (Pittsburgh, PA) to play the Titans in a non-league battle on Friday, October 4. The Titans go into the battle with a record of 2-4. Shaler Area lost 41-0 in their recent league battle against Penn Hills (Pittsburgh, PA)
The Tigers now own a 5-1 record. They play next when they travel to Mt. Lebanon for a WPIAL AAAAAA Quad-County battle on Friday, October 4. North Allegheny will play a Blue Devils team coming off a 32-8 league win over Seneca Valley (Harmony, PA). The Blue Devils record now stands at 1-5.
