The Rains Wildcats football squad scored 47 points and limited the host Eustace Bulldogs to 44 in the Wildcats league triumph on Friday.

The Wildcats now sport a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they host Mount Vernon for a 3A-1 Region II District 7 test on Friday, October 11.

With the defeat, Eustace drops to 1-4 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Mount Vernon (Mount Vernon, TX) to meet the Tigers in a 3A-1 Region II District 7 test on Friday, October 4. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 1-5. Mount Vernon won 17-14 in their recent league test against Mineola (Mineola, TX)
