September 27, 2024: Red Cloud, NE 68970 Red Cloud Warriors (Red Cloud, NE) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the visiting Meridian Mustangs (Daykin, NE), 53-20 in a league battle.
With the win, Red Cloud advances its record to 4-0 on the season. The Warriors travel to Harvard (Harvard, NE) to play the Cardinals in a D6 District 2 (6 Man) battle on Friday, October 4. The Cardinals go into the battle with a record of 0-4. Harvard lost 58-12 in their recent league battle against Dorchester (Dorchester, NE)
The Mustangs now own a 1-3 record. They play next when they host Parkview Christian for a non-league battle on Friday, October 4. Meridian will play a Patriots team coming off a 60-16 league loss to Pawnee City (Pawnee City, NE). The Patriots record now stands at 1-3.
