Iowa High School Football - Woodbury Central tops St. Albert
September 27, 2024: Moville, IA 51039 The Woodbury Central Wildcats football squad scored 35 points and limited the visiting St. Albert Falcons to 27 in the Wildcats league triumph on Friday.
The Wildcats now sport a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they host Kingsley-Pierson for a A District 8 test on Friday, October 4. Woodbury Central will meet a Panthers squad coming off a 40-12 non-league win over Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn (Hartley, IA). The Panthers record now stands at 3-2.
With the defeat, St. Albert drops to 2-3 on the campaign. The Falcons host Tri-Center (Neola, IA) to meet the Trojans in a A District 8 test on Friday, October 4. The Trojans come into the test with a record of 4-1. Tri-Center won 37-0 in their recent league test against Logan-Magnolia (Logan, IA)
