The Eagles now possess a 13-20 record. They play next when they host Lake Belton for a 5A Region II District 16 bout on Tuesday, October 1. Ellison will clash with a Broncos team coming off a 3-0 league win over Belton (Belton, TX). The Broncos record now stands at 24-9.
With the loss, Waco drops to 3-18 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Chaparral (Killeen, TX) to clash with the Bobcats in a 5A Region II District 16 bout on Tuesday, October 1.
