The Kennedy Catholic Gaels football squad scored 34 points and limited the host Nazareth Kingsmen to 0 in the Gaels league win on Saturday.

In their next game, the Gaels play the Christ the King Royals (Middle Village, NY) in a Catholic AA II challenge, on Friday, October 3. Kennedy Catholic will attempt to improve on its 2-3 season record. The Royals go into the challenge with a 2-2 record after their 16-6 league loss to Holy Cross (Flushing, NY).
