New York High School Football - Kennedy Catholic thwarted by Mt. St. Michael Academy

August 29, 2025: Somers, NY 10589

Mt. St. Michael Academy Mountaineers (Bronx, NY) backers left the game thrilled Friday as they observed their football squad run past the host Kennedy Catholic Gaels (Somers, NY), 30-14 in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Mountaineers face the Christ the King Royals (Middle Village, NY) in a Catholic AA II challenge, on Saturday, September 6. Mt. St. Michael Academy will attempt to improve on its 1-0 season record.

The Gaels (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Croton-Harmon (Croton on Hudson, NY). The Tigers enter the non-league challenge with a 0-0 record.
