The Niagara Falls Wolverines (Niagara Falls, NY) football tipped the visiting Lockport Lions (Lockport, NY), 28-26 in Saturday's league outing.

The Wolverines now possess a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Orchard Park for a Section 6 AA game on Friday, October 3. Niagara Falls will clash with a Quakers squad coming off a 30-19 league win over Jamestown (Jamestown, NY). The Quakers record now stands at 2-1.

With the defeat, Lockport drops to 1-3 on the campaign. The Lions host Lancaster (Lancaster, NY) to clash with the Legends in a Section 6 AA outing on Saturday, October 4. The Legends come into the outing with a record of 3-1.
