Lancaster Legends (Lancaster, NY) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Niagara Falls Wolverines (Niagara Falls, NY), 42-28 in a league battle.

With the win, Lancaster improves its record to 5-1 on the season. The Legends travel to Lewis J. Bennett/Olmsted/Middle Early College/East (Buffalo, NY) to play the Tigers in a Section 6 AA battle on Friday, October 17. The Tigers go into the battle with a record of 5-1. Lewis J. Bennett/Olmsted/Middle Early College/East won 56-14 in their recent league match against Lockport (Lockport, NY)

Coming up next, the Wolverines meet the Jamestown Red & Green (Jamestown, NY) in a Section 6 AA match, on Saturday, October 18. Niagara Falls will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record.
