The Shawnee Heights Thunderbirds volleyball squad (Tecumseh, KS), was defeated 2-0 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Blue Valley Northwest Huskies (Overland Park, KS)

With the win, Blue Valley Northwest upgrades its record to 6-13 on the year. The Huskies host Blue Valley North (Overland Park, KS) to meet the Mustangs in a Eastern Kansas challenge on Tuesday, September 30. The Mustangs enter the challenge with a record of 13-7. Blue Valley North lost 2-0 in their recent league challenge against Blue Valley Southwest (Overland Park, KS)
