The Circle Thunderbirds tipped the host Nemaha Central Thunder volleyball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league game.

Next up, the Thunderbirds confront the Collegiate Spartans (Wichita, KS) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, September 30. Circle will attempt to advance on its 11-7 season record. The Spartans enter the game with a 8-8 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Haven (Haven, KS).

The Thunder (14-11) will now prepare for their game against St. Marys (St. Marys, KS). The Bears come into the non-league bout with a 1-23 record. In their last bout, St. Marys was nudged by Perry-Lecompton (Perry, KS), 2-0, in a league bout.
