The Beloit Trojans volleyball squad (Beloit, KS), was edged 2-1 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Nemaha Central Thunder (Seneca, KS)

With the triumph, Nemaha Central upgrades its record to 18-14 on the campaign. The Thunder host Rossville (Rossville, KS) to meet the Bulldogs in a Big East challenge on Tuesday, October 7. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 19-10. Rossville won 2-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Hays (Hays, KS)

Next, the Trojans meet the Ellsworth Bearcats (Ellsworth, KS) in a North Central AA challenge, on Tuesday, October 7. Beloit will attempt to upgrade on its 20-7 season record. The Bearcats come into the challenge with a 23-6 record after their 2-0 league win over Minneapolis (Minneapolis, KS).
