In Saturday's non-league match, the Eisenhower Tigers (Goddard, KS) volleyball squad nipped the visiting Northwest Grizzlies (Wichita, KS), by a count of 2-1.

The Tigers (16-7) will now prepare for their battle against Newton (Newton, KS). The Railroaders go into the non-league battle with a 4-14 record. In their last battle, Newton was edged by Andover Central (Andover, KS), 2-0, in a league battle.
