In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Prestonwood Christian Lions volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Liberty Christian Warriors.

The Lions (25-4) will now prepare for their challenge against John Paul II (Plano, TX). The Cardinals come into the non-league test with a 24-9 record. In their last test, John Paul II achieved victory over Concordia Lutheran (Tomball, TX), 2-0, in a non-league test.

The Warriors now own a 13-16 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Antonian Prep for a non-league test on Saturday, September 27. Liberty Christian will face a Apaches squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Steele (Cibolo, TX). The Apaches record now stands at 26-12.
