With the win, Salem improves its record to 9-8 on the season. The Greyhounds travel to Bergman (Bergman, AR) to meet the Panthers in a 3A 2 contest on Tuesday, September 30. The Panthers enter the contest with a record of 11-5.
Next, the Lions meet the Newport Greyhounds (Newport, AR) in a 3A 3 contest, on Tuesday, September 30. Manila will attempt to improve on its 6-7 season record. The Greyhounds go into the battle with a 7-7 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Dyer County (Newbern, TN).
