Mississippi High School Volleyball - Piney Woods overwhelmed by McLaurin

McLaurin Tigers (Florence, MS) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Piney Woods Tornadoes (Piney Woods, MS), 3-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, McLaurin improves its record to 18-3 on the season. The Tigers travel to Jefferson Davis County (Bassfield, MS) to face the Jaguars in a Class 3A Region 6 test on Monday, September 29. The Jaguars go into the test with a record of 3-10. Jefferson Davis County lost 3-0 in their recent league test against Seminary (Seminary, MS)

Next, the Tornadoes play the Taylorsville Tartars (Taylorsville, MS) in a Class 1A Region 7 challenge, on Monday, September 29. Piney Woods will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Tartars come into the challenge with a 2-10 record after their 3-1 league win over Piney Woods (Piney Woods, MS).
