Kentucky High School Volleyball - Monroe County over South Laurel
September 27, 2025: London, KY 40744 Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Monroe County Falcons (Tompkinsville, KY) and the host South Laurel Cardinals (London, KY), observed Monroe County's volleyball team top South Laurel by a tally of 2-0.
The Falcons (11-7) will now prepare for their contest against Apollo (Owensboro, KY). The Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 15-4 record. In their last contest, Apollo was beaten by Owensboro (Owensboro, KY), 3-0, in a league contest.
Next, the Cardinals meet the Butler County Bears (Morgantown, KY) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, September 27. South Laurel will attempt to upgrade on its 8-15 season record. The Bears enter the contest with a 9-13 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Cloverport (Cloverport, KY).
