Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Springdale Bulldogs (Springdale, AR) and the visiting New Heights Christian Academy Cougars (Joplin, MO), saw Springdale's volleyball squad nudge New Heights Christian Academy by a score of 2-1.

With the win, Springdale improves its record to 5-13 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Northside (Fort Smith, AR) to encounter the Grizzlies in a 6A West battle on Monday, September 29.
