The Schulenburg Shorthorns edged the host Shiner Comanches volleyball squad by a final score of 3-2 in Saturday's league game.

Next up, the Shorthorns face the Ganado Indians (Ganado, TX) in a 2A Region IV District 27 game, on Tuesday, September 30. Schulenburg will attempt to advance on its 24-12 season record. The Indians go into the game with a 3-19 record after their 3-0 league loss to Flatonia (Flatonia, TX).
