Maryland High School Football - Patuxent smashes Chopticon

The Patuxent Panthers (Lusby, MD) football routed the host Chopticon Braves (Morganza, MD), 43-0 in Thursday's league bout.

In their next game, the Panthers face the Great Mills Hornets (Great Mills, MD) in a Southern Maryland - Potomac bout, on Friday, October 6. Patuxent will attempt to advance on its 5-0 season record. The Hornets enter the bout with a 3-2 record after their 36-35 league win over Northern (Owings, MD).

The Braves (1-6) will now prepare for their bout against La Plata (La Plata, MD). The Warriors enter the Southern Maryland - Potomac bout with a 0-5 record. In their last bout, La Plata was overwhelmed by Westlake (Waldorf, MD), 34-0, in a league bout.
