September 28, 2023: Wilmington, NC 28412 The Ashley Screaming Eagle football team (Wilmington, NC), was beaten 28-7 in Thursday's non-league challenge with the visiting New Hanover Wildcats (Wilmington, NC)
The Wildcats (5-1) will now prepare for their challenge against North Brunswick (Leland, NC). The Scorpions come into the non-league challenge with a 5-1 record. In their last challenge, North Brunswick achieved victory over Topsail (Hampstead, NC), 26-12, in a non-league challenge.
The Screaming Eagle now sport a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they host Hoggard for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, October 4. Ashley will meet a Vikings team coming off a 41-0 non-league win over West Brunswick (Shallotte, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 4-2.
