Missouri High School Softball - Platte County bounces Raytown
September 28, 2023: Raytown, MO 64133 Platte County Pirates (Platte City, MO) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Raytown Bluejays (Raytown, MO), 18-1 in a non-league challenge.
The Pirates now own a 16-6 record. They take the field next when they host Grain Valley for a non-league challenge on Monday, October 2. Platte County will battle a Eagles squad coming off a 15-0 non-league win over Chrisman (Independence, MO). The Eagles record now stands at 20-6.
With the loss, Raytown falls to 7-8 on the campaign. The Bluejays travel to Winnetonka (Kansas City, MO) to battle the Griffins in a non-league challenge on Monday, October 2. The Griffins enter the challenge with a record of 7-11.
