September 28, 2023: Alpena, AR 72611 The Quitman Bulldogs (Quitman, AR) volleyball overcame the host Alpena Leopards (Alpena, AR), 3-0 in Thursday's league outing.
With the win, Quitman upgrades its record to 12-5 on the year. The Bulldogs host St. Joseph (Conway, AR) to face the Bulldogs in a 2A North outing on Monday, October 2. The Bulldogs go into the outing with a record of 12-6. St. Joseph won 3-1 in their recent league outing against Izard County (Brockwell, AR)
The Leopards now own a 3-15 record. They play next when they host Omaha for a non-league outing on Friday, September 29. Alpena will face a Eagles squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Bergman (Bergman, AR). The Eagles record now stands at 1-6.
