September 28, 2023: Spooner, WI 54801 The Spooner Rails volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Chetek-Weyerhaeuser Bulldogs to 0 in the Rails league victory on Thursday.
The Rails now possess a 13-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cameron for a Heart O'North game on Tuesday, October 3. Spooner will meet a Comets team coming off a 3-0 league win over Hayward (Hayward, WI). The Comets record now stands at 8-18.
The Bulldogs (2-13) will now prepare for their game against Barron (Barron, WI). The Golden Bears enter the Heart O'North game with a 22-4 record. In their last game, Barron defeated Northwestern (Maple, WI), 3-0, in a league game.
