The Mora Mustangs held off the visiting Pierz Pioneers volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Thursday's league test.

The Mustangs now have a 3-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Becker for a non-league test on Saturday, September 30. Mora will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 3-0 league win over Princeton (Princeton, MN). The Bulldogs record now stands at 6-8.

The Pioneers (6-10) will now prepare for their test against Milaca (Milaca, MN). The Wolves enter the Granite Ridge test with a 3-10 record. In their last test, Milaca was nudged by Pequot Lakes (Pequot Lakes, MN), 3-0, in a non-league test.
