The Mountain Ridge Mountain Lions ice hockey team scored 8 points and held the host Centennial Coyotes to 1 in the Mountain Lions league victory on Saturday.

The Mountain Lions now own a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pinnacle for a bout on Sunday, September 29. Mountain Ridge will play a Pioneers team coming off a 6-3 league win over Hamilton (Chandler, AZ). The Pioneers record now stands at 2-1.
