Maine High School Soccer - Dexter toppled by Piscataquis
September 28, 2024: Guilford, ME 04443 Piscataquis Pirates (Guilford, ME) boosters exited the stadium pleased Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Dexter Tigers (Dexter, ME), 6-1 in a league test.
With the triumph, Piscataquis moves its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to East Grand (Dansforth, ME) to clash with the Vikings in a 8 Person - North test on Thursday, October 3. The Vikings come into the test with a record of 0-6. East Grand lost 1-0 in their recent league test against Ashland (Ashland, ME)
The Tigers now sport a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they host Searsport for a non-league test on Wednesday, October 2. Dexter will clash with a Vikings team coming off a 5-0 non-league loss to Calais (Calais, ME). The Vikings record now stands at 1-6.
