On a chilly rainy Saturday evening the Hornets defended their home turf against Mercer and came away with gritty 4-2 win after the Mustangs tied the game at 2 halfway through the 2nd half.
Luka Harmer (8) and Eric McCrimmon (12) scored in the 66th and 67th minutes to put the game away for the now 9-1 Hornets (6-0 Home).
Harmer opened the scoring just 5 minutes into the game en route to tallying his 3rd multi-goal match of the season, and Logan Stanford added a 70-yard direct free kick goal late in the first half to give the Hornets a 2-1 lead heading into the half.
