September 10, 2024: Mercer, PA 16137 The Mercer Mustangs held off the visiting West Middlesex Big Reds soccer team by a tally of 2-1 in Tuesday's league game.
Next, the Mustangs face the Kennedy Catholic (Hermitage, PA) in a District 10 Region 1 game, on Thursday, September 12. Mercer will attempt to advance on its 2-3 season record.
The Big Reds (2-3) will now prepare for their game against Sharpsville (Sharpsville, PA). The Blue Devils come into the District 10 Region 1 game with a 3-2 record. In their last game, Sharpsville edged Commodore Perry (Hadley, PA), 12-1, in a league game.
