Nebraska High School Softball - Aquinas bounces Lakeview
September 28, 2024: Columbus, NE 68601 In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Aquinas Monarchs softball team scored a tight 7-0 victory over the Lakeview Vikings.
The Monarchs (16-12) will now prepare for their match against Polk County (Stromsburg, NE). The Slammers go into the C District match with a 14-12 record. In their last match, Polk County tipped Ord (Ord, NE), 17-7, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Vikings battle the Crete Cardinals (Crete, NE) in a non-league match, on Monday, September 30. Lakeview will attempt to better on its 6-15 season record. The Cardinals go into the match with a 17-7 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Bishop Neumann (Wahoo, NE).
