Missouri High School Softball - North Shelby edges South Shelby
September 28, 2024: Shelbyville, MO 63469 The North Shelby Raiders softball team scored 9 runs and held the visiting South Shelby Cardinals to 7 in the Raiders non-league win on Saturday.
The Raiders now sport a 10-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Schuyler County for a Class 1 District 10 battle on Monday, September 30. North Shelby will confront a Rams team coming off a 17-0 non-league loss to Paris (Paris, MO). The Rams record now stands at 4-9.
With the loss, South Shelby moves to 14-7 on the season. The Cardinals host Centralia (Centralia, MO) to confront the Panthers in a non-league battle on Monday, September 30. The Panthers come into the battle with a record of 16-3. Centralia won 13-5 in their recent non-league game against McDonald County (Anderson, MO)
