Georgia High School Softball - Woodland bounces Mt. Zion
September 29, 2022: Jonesboro, GA 30236 The Woodland Wolfpack routed the host Mt. Zion Bulldogs softball squad by a count of 20-2 in Thursday's league battle.
The Wolfpack (5-10) will now prepare for their battle against Luella (Luella, GA). The Lions go into the 4A Region 5 battle with a 7-9 record. In their last battle, Luella topped Dutchtown (Hampton, GA), 14-0, in a non-league battle.
The Bulldogs now sport a 1-13 record. They play next when they travel to Pace Academy for a 4A Region 5 battle on Tuesday, October 4. Mt. Zion will meet a Knights squad coming off a 20-1 non-league win over Woodward Academy (College Park, GA). The Knights record now stands at 15-9.
