The Camden County Bruins thwarted the host First Flight Nighthawks football team by a count of 35-14 in Friday's league outing.

With the win, Camden County upgrades its record to 3-3 on the season. The Bruins host Northeastern (Elizabeth City, NC) to encounter the Eagles in a 2A/3A Northeastern Coastal outing on Friday, October 6. The Eagles go into the outing with a record of 6-0. Northeastern won 43-42 in their recent league outing against Hertford County (Ahoskie, NC)

With the loss, First Flight moves to 0-5 on the season. The Nighthawks travel to Hertford County (Ahoskie, NC) to encounter the Bears in a 2A/3A Northeastern Coastal outing on Friday, October 6. The Bears go into the outing with a record of 4-2. Hertford County lost 43-42 in their recent league outing against Northeastern (Elizabeth City, NC)
