The Juniata Valley Hornets held off the visiting Moshannon Valley Black Knights/Damsels football team by a count of 20-14 in Friday's league outing.

With the win, Juniata Valley upgrades its record to 5-1 on the season. The Hornets travel to Mount Union (Mount Union, PA) to encounter the Trojans in a Inter-County - North outing on Friday, October 6. The Trojans go into the outing with a record of 5-1. Mount Union won 41-0 in their recent league outing against Glendale (Flinton, PA)

With the loss, Moshannon Valley moves to 3-3 on the season.
