The Central Valley Cougars (Greeley, NE) volleyball overcame the visiting Ansley/Litchfield Spartans (Ansley, NE), 3-1 in Friday's non-league outing.

With the win, Central Valley upgrades its record to 10-4 on the year. The Cougars travel to Palmer (Palmer, NE) to face the Tigers in a non-league outing on Tuesday, October 3. The Tigers go into the outing with a record of 5-8. Palmer lost 2-0 in their recent non-league outing against Riverside (Cedar Rapids, NE)

The Spartans now own a 9-10 record. They play next when they travel to Wilcox-Hildreth for a non-league outing on Tuesday, October 3. Ansley/Litchfield will face a Falcons squad coming off a 3-2 league win over Franklin (Franklin, NE). The Falcons record now stands at 4-16.
