September 29, 2023: Carrollton, TX 75007 The Newman Smith Trojans volleyball team (Carrollton, TX), was dropped 3-1 in Friday's league challenge with the host Creekview Mustangs (Carrollton, TX)
The Mustangs (9-20) will now prepare for their challenge against Lone Star (Frisco, TX). The Rangers enter the 5A Region II District 9 challenge with a 16-12 record. In their last challenge, Lone Star defeated Turner (Carrollton, TX), 3-0, in a league challenge.
Next, the Trojans meet the Frisco Raccoons (Frisco, TX) in a 5A Region II District 9 challenge, on Tuesday, October 3. Newman Smith will attempt to move on its 5-18 season record. The Raccoons enter the challenge with a 10-16 record after their 3-1 league loss to Reedy (Frisco, TX).
