Virginia High School Volleyball - Spotswood can't hold off Fluvanna County
September 29, 2025: Palmyra, VA 22963 In Monday's non-league match, the Fluvanna County Flying Flucos (Palmyra, VA) volleyball team held off the visiting Spotswood Trailblazers (Penn Laird, VA), by a margin of 2-1.
The Flying Flucos now possess a 9-3 record. They play next when they travel to Albemarle for a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 30. Fluvanna County will clash with a Patriots team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Western Albemarle (Crozet, VA). The Patriots record now stands at 7-1.
With the loss, Spotswood drops to 6-4 on the campaign. The Trailblazers host William Monroe (Stanardsville, VA) to clash with the Dragons in a bout on Tuesday, October 7.
