In Monday's league outing, the host Alleghany Trojans soccer squad scored a tight 8-1 victory over the East Wilkes Cardinals.

The Trojans (3-6) will now prepare for their outing against Wilkes Central (Wilkesboro, NC). The Eagles go into the Mountain Valley 2A/3A/4A outing with a 5-4 record. In their last outing, Wilkes Central was overwhelmed by Ashe County (West Jefferson, NC), 5-1, in a league outing.
