In Monday's league test, the Lincoln Southwest Silver Hawks (Lincoln, NE) softball squad overwhelmed the host Elkhorn South Storm (Omaha, NE), by a score of 11-3.

With the triumph, Lincoln Southwest improves its record to 24-2 on the year. The Silver Hawks travel to Fremont (Fremont, NE) to face the Tigers in a A District contest on Tuesday, September 30. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 3-22. Fremont lost 14-0 in their recent non-league bout against Blair (Blair, NE)

In their next game, the Storm clash with the Papillion-LaVista South Titans (Papillion, NE) in a A District bout, on Tuesday, September 30. Elkhorn South will attempt to advance on its 18-9 season record. The Titans go into the bout with a 12-12 record after their 13-4 league loss to Millard North (Omaha, NE).
