The AuSable Valley Patriots volleyball squad (Clintonville, NY), was defeated 3-0 in Monday's league battle with the host Plattsburgh Hornets (Plattsburgh, NY)

With the win, Plattsburgh improves its record to 6-2 on the season. The Hornets host Northeastern Clinton (Champlain, NY) to play the Cougars in a Section 7 Freelance challenge on Thursday, October 2. The Cougars go into the game with a record of 1-4. Northeastern Clinton lost 3-0 in their recent league game against Peru (Peru, NY)

The Patriots (2-3) will now prepare for their game against Saranac Lake (Saranac Lake, NY). The Red Storm go into the Section 7 Freelance game with a 7-2 record. In their last game, Saranac Lake went down by Peru (Peru, NY), 3-2, in a league outing.
