September 29, 2025: Opelousas, LA 70570 Fans at Monday's non-league contest between the Westminster Christian Academy Crusaders (Opelousas, LA) and the visiting Highland Baptist Christian Bears (New Iberia, LA), observed Westminster Christian Academy's volleyball team top Highland Baptist Christian by a tally of 3-0.
The Crusaders (13-2) will now prepare for their contest against Teurlings Catholic (Lafayette, LA). The Rebels enter the non-league contest with a 13-8 record. In their last contest, Teurlings Catholic was beaten by Northshore (Slidell, LA), 2-1, in a non-league test.
The Bears now own a 11-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ascension Episcopal for a Division V District 3 test on Wednesday, October 1. Highland Baptist Christian will encounter a squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Beau Chene (Arnaudville, LA). The record now stands at 10-3.
