In Monday's non-league contest, the Lancaster Red Devils (Lancaster, VA) volleyball team defeated the visiting King & Queen Central Royal Tigers (King & Queen Court House, VA), by a count of 3-0.

The Red Devils (10-4) will now prepare for their contest against Westmoreland (Montross, VA). The Eagles go into the Northern Neck battle with a 8-2 record. In their last battle, Westmoreland achieved victory over Colonial Beach (Colonial Beach, VA), 3-0, in a league battle.

The Royal Tigers now own a 2-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mathews for a Tidewater battle on Thursday, October 2. King & Queen Central will meet a Blue Devils team coming off a 3-0 league win over Carver College and Career Academy (Chester, VA). The Blue Devils record now stands at 6-6.
