In Monday's non-league challenge, the visiting Marion County Red Raiders volleyball team scored a close 3-2 triumph over the Winfield Pirates.

The Red Raiders (11-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Lamar County (Vernon, AL). The Bulldogs come into the non-league challenge with a 8-5 record. In their last challenge, Lamar County edged South Lamar (Millport, AL), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Pirates play the Fayette County Tigers (Fayette, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 30. Winfield will attempt to upgrade on its 4-7 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 17-4 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Northside (Northport, AL).
