Florida High School Volleyball - Newsome can't get by Sickles

Sickles Gryphons (Tampa, FL) followers left the game satisfied Monday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the host Newsome Wolves (Lithia, FL), 3-2 in a non-league test.

With the win, Sickles advances its record to 8-12 on the season. The Gryphons travel to Cypress Creek (Wesley Chapel, FL) to play the Coyotes in a non-league challenge on Friday, October 3. The Coyotes come into the challenge with a record of 4-5. Cypress Creek lost 3-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Wiregrass Ranch (Wesley Chapel, FL)

Next, the Wolves play the Sumner Stingrays (Riverview, FL) in a 7A District 11 game, on Tuesday, September 30. Newsome will attempt to advance on its 12-4 season record. The Stingrays go into the game with a 9-7 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Alonso (Tampa, FL).
