September 3, 2024: Floyd, VA 24091 Fans at Tuesday's non-league contest between the Liberty Minutemen (Bedford, VA) and the host Floyd County Buffaloes (Floyd, VA), observed Liberty's volleyball team top Floyd County by a tally of 2-0.
The Minutemen (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Gretna (Gretna, VA). The Hawks enter the non-league contest with a 0-1 record.
Next, the Buffaloes meet the Pulaski County Cougars (Dublin, VA) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, September 5. Floyd County will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Cougars enter the contest with a 3-0 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Fleming (Roanoke, VA).
