Georgia High School Softball - Pinewood Christian sneaks past Savannah Christian
September 3, 2024: Bellville, GA 30414 The Pinewood Christian Patriots softball team scored 11 runs and held the visiting Savannah Christian Raiders to 10 in the Patriots non-league win on Tuesday.
The Patriots now sport a 9-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Statesboro for a non-league battle on Thursday, September 5. Pinewood Christian will encounter a Blue Devils team coming off a 12-4 non-league win over Screven County (Sylvania, GA). The Blue Devils record now stands at 6-5.
With the loss, Savannah Christian moves to 8-6 on the season. The Raiders travel to St. Vincent's (Savannah, GA) to encounter the Saints in a 1A D-I Region 3 battle on Thursday, September 5. The Saints come into the battle with a record of 3-6. St. Vincent's lost 8-0 in their recent league battle against Vidalia (Vidalia, GA)
